The fruit rind of Punica granatum is an astringent and styptic. It is being used to control diarrhoea and dysentery. It is a strong bactericidal against various pathogens. Also it shows antioxidant, anti-diabetic, anticancer activities.

Dosage:  3 – 4 gm twice a day before food with honey or warm water.
