Indications: Peptic ulcers, aphthous ulcers. As supplement in hepatitis, liver cirrhosis.

It is used in Indian cuisine as a green for a very long period and it is believed to treat ulcers in mouth or stomach. It shows alterative, tonic, etc. properties. Its anti-inflammatory and anti-ulcerogenic actions helps in the treatment of peptic ulcers. It significantly inhibits H+, K+, ATPase activity and decreases gastric secretions.

Dosage: 2 – 3 gram twice a day before food with water.
