Ingredients:
Pippali | Piper longum | Frt. | 1 Part |
Marica | Piper nigrum | Frt. | 1 Part |
Sunthi | Zingiber officinale | Rz. | 1 Part |
Dosage: 1 to 3 gm.
Anupana : Honey, warm water.
Indications: Arocaka (Tastelessness), Agnimandya (Digestive impairment), Amadosa (Products of impaired digestion and metabolism / consequences of Ama), Gala Roga (Diseases of throat), Pinasa (Chronic rhinitis/sinusitis), Kushtha (Diseases of skin), Svasa (Dyspnoea/Asthma), Kasa (Cough), Tvagroga (Skin disease), Gulma (Abdominal lump), Meha (Excessive flow of urine), Sthaulya (Obesity), Slipada (Filariasis)
Thirikadugu is an excellent combination of three pungents used in dyspepsia, flatulence, vomiting, colic and spasms. It can be given as an adjunct with other Chendura or Bhasma to treat kapha diseases. It can be given in feverishness, headache and body ache and in cough.
