Indications: Thyroid dysfunction.
Aloe barbadensis a well-established medicinal herb, which is being used to treat a variety of illness. It is well known for its anti-inflammatory properties. On regular usage it may help in reducing the levels of serum thyropeptidase autoantibodies (TPOAb) and thyrotropin (TSH) and an increase in serum free thyroxine (FT4). The gel of Aloe barbadensis may immunomodulate and activate macrophages, monocytes, antibodies and T-cells. Aloe also strengthens the immune system.
Nigella sativa also plays a vital role in improving thyroid status and anthropometric variables in Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. Sesamum indicum shows anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties.
