Churanam
Churana is the fine powder of a single herb or the poly-herbal formulation. The herbs mentioned in the texts are cleaned and dried properly, finely powdered and sieved and mixed homogeneously as per the ratio given in the formula. If salts, sugar, camphor etc. are to be added, they are powdered separately and mixed as per the ratio. Churna should be kept in air tight containers to retain its efficacy.
