The Sennosides in Cassia angustifolia increases intestinal muscle contraction and decreases bodily absorption of fluids resulting in laxative action. The three herbs viz. Terminalia chebula, Terminalia belerica and Emblica officinalis are the ideal digestive aid, hepatic stimulant and mild laxative. Thirikadugu is known for its carminative and digestive properties. Vayvidangam shows anthelmintic activity.
Dosage: 2 – 4gm with warm water before night meal.
