The stem bark of Ficus religiosa is a strong astringent containing D-glucosides, bergaptol, bergapten, flavonoids, alkaloids, and henol content. It shows antibacterial, antidiabetic, anti-amnesic properties.
Dosage: 2 – 5 gm powder with warm water.
