USAGE: It can be used as a tooth powder.

Oral hygiene

Indications: Tooth ache, bleeding gums, swollen gums, Kushta (skin diseases), krumiroga (infestation), atisara (diarrhoea, dysentery), kasa (cough).

Decoction prepared from the stem bark is used as a gargle and mouth wash to maintain oral hygiene. The same decoction can be used for cleaning and washing wounds, ulcers hemorrhoids.

Dosage: External use for oral care gum massage and brushing. 20 to 30 gm for decoction.
