The guggulipids present in Commiphora wightii helps in maintaining lipid levels by inhibiting the synthesis of cholesterol in the liver, increasing the excretion through bile. It also increases the uptake of LDL by the liver. The flavonoids in Musa sapientum show hypolipidemic effect. Cynodon dactylon helps in reducing Low Density Lipoproteins (LDL) ‘bad cholesterol’ and at the same time increases the levels of High-Density Lipoproteins (HDL) ‘good cholesterol’. The other herbs show hepatic stimulant as well as antioxidant properties.
Dosage: 1 – 2 capsules twice daily before food.
